A precious cat named Little Andrew captured thousands of feline-loving hearts across the internet recently, when a touching photo of the kitty, who appears to be a Russian blue, showed his paw “holding” his owners’ hands.
"He held our hands on his last trip to the vet. Little Andrew was much stronger than his mom and I."
Little Andrew was letting them know it was time and that everything would be alright.
"Little Andrew was my junior. He was 15 and a half and loved everyone, but just got old and sick over the last year. He purred everyday of his life and when he lost that, I knew it was time. Always sad to lose a friend."
The reddit community showered them with kindness and love.
"May he purr forever in your heart!" responded one commentor. "Oh man that made me tear up. My condolences to you," wrote another. "Kitties love so deeply. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can tell your cat had a great life with you two. Even these last moments were loving ones. Rest in peace little kitty."
It's never easy losing a fur friend. They're family. Cherish them each day for you never know when it's their time to go to the rainbow bridge.
